Celebrate the LABOR DAY HOLIDAY at world renown, THE WORLD STAGE (TWS) Performance Gallery in the cultural mecca of Leimert Park Village. Liz Whitted-Dawson, Song Muse, will be celebrating with her "THE FRUITS OF LABOR" performance and Jazztet: Earl "Big Juicy" Johnson, Music Director & Piano; James Leary, Bass; Sal Crocker, Horns. We will be Kicking off the FALL/AUTUMN season and giving thanks for SUMMER 2017. Come join me as we honor our national art form and musical treasure "JAZZ" by serving up great LIVE music at the TWS. This cultural hub for artists was founded more than 25 years ago in the heart of Los Angeles' African American community by the late world-renowned master jazz drummer Billy Higgins and by poet and community activist, Kamau Daaood.  The World Stage has grown to play a pioneering and pivotal role in LA's music and art landscape.
