Liz Whitted Dawson performed with Rose Gales and her Quartet, Rose Gales, Piano, Bob Lee, Bass; Aisha Gallard, Drums; Julie Sussman, Saxophone and an ensemble of Women Jazz Vocalists to a sold out crowd at the one and only The World Stage in historic Leimert Park, Los Angeles. The World Stage was founded by Jazz Drummer, Billy Higgins and Poet Kamau Daaood. Rose Gales, an icon of the Los Angeles Jazz scene, has been hosting weekly jam sessions for over 40 years, starting this tradition with her late husband, Larry Gales, bassist with the Jazz legend, Thelonious Monk.
